a piratical peace pixie leaves london, with prayer flags a fluttering, bound for the emerald isle, ireland. first port of call is the dry dock of faversham, near the isle of sheppey. the survey proclaims her to be a soundly built and sturdy vessel. however! the surveyor & the shipwright proclaim her unfit for the mighty irish sea. the force of the waves could break open an old wound, above the water line on her port side. ten thousand pounds stands in between pixie and her dream ! what to do...well, the fact is, there is no choice! sheppey queen, the rainbow pirate and the ship's treasure are stuck in the mud! the dream may take a lifetime...who knows? life goes on, the tide comes in and the tides goes out...ebbing and flooding like the phases of the moon.... welcome aboard!...a collage of images, portrays beauty and spirit, sheppey queen and her journey, the personal and the whole...the dream |
